Lincoln Park and Depaul-
One of the most well-known and popular neighborhoods in Chicago, Lincoln Park is the area bound by North Avenue, Diversey, Ashland and Clybourn Avenue, and Lake Michigan. To put it another way, Lincoln Park is bordered by the community areas of Lakeview to the north, Logan Square and West Town to the west, and Near North to the south.
With almost every type of shop, restaurant, or other entertainment imaginable within its confines, Lincoln Park is a neighborhood primarily identified with young professionals, recent college graduates, as well as an increasingly trendy place to raise a family. Contributing to this are sites such as the Lincoln Park Zoo, DePaul University, and the kid-friendly Oz Park. As neighborhood's namesake park, Lincoln Park is the largest public park in all of Chicago. Lincoln Park contains lakeside beaches, botanical gardens, playgrounds, golf courses, and many open areas available for sports such as football, baseball, soccer and more.
Lincoln Park provides many entertainment and nightlife opportunities. Public transportation in the area is plentiful, with CTA buses on every major street, and Red, Brown, and Purple Line "El" stops at North Ave, Sedgwick, Armitage, Fullerton, and Diversey.
Rent for studio apartments can range from $700 - $950 and one bedroom apartments typically start around $1,000 and increase from there, depending on the view, size, and location.
