Andersonville-

Andersonville is now considered one of Chicago's "hot" neighborhoods.  Unique commerical district comprised of locally owned, independent businesses.  Featuring many residential areas, including a mix of high-rises, single family condos and traditional apartment buildings.  Andersonville is named for, and influenced heavily by, Swedish culture.  The heart of Andersonville is located on the stretch of Clark Street bordered on the north and south by Bryn Mawr and Lawrence Avenue.  This unique commercial district, primarily made up of locally owned, independent businesses, features a large selection of eclectic shops, restaurants, cafes, health clubs, and boutiques, featuring items and cuisine from an array of cultures.  A walk along the beautiful sidewalks and brick street crossings further provide Andersonville it's appeal.

The approximate boundaries of Andersonville are Magnolia Avenue to the east, Ravenswood Avenue to the west, Winnemac Avenue to the south, and Victoria Avenue to the north.  The heart of the Andersonville commerical district is the intersection of Clark and Foster (5200 North Clark).
