Old Town is bound by Armitage Avenue (2000 N) on the north, Division Street (1200 N) on the south, Larrabee Street on the west, and Clark Street on the east. Due to the proximity of Old Town to these Lincoln Park and Downtown, Old Town is in high demand for those who can afford to live there. Its proximity to the Loop keep housing expensive, but not like Gold Coast prices. This is a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood, but in addition to the historic residential qualities, Old Town has theaters, restaurants and clubs. Transportation is plentiful here with all three "El" (Brown and Red Lines) stops and CTA bus lines.
